Voice Collective, Mind in Camden’s london-wide project for young people who hear, see or sense things others don’t, is hosting two free workshops on Saturday 12th February from 1-4pm in Whitechapel.
Creative Arts Workshop for Young People who Hear Voices (18 or under)
Everyone, no matter who they are, is on a journey. We change and grow, just as our life changes too.
This workshop will explore the idea of journeys and change using a range of creative activities (on the sign up form just say which you’re most interested in).
Activities may include: Spoken Word/Poetry * Music * Storytelling * Games * Drama * Art Project
It will be an opportunity to meet other young people who may be going through similar experiences and a chance to have some fun.
Supportive Workshop for Parents of Young People Who Hear Voices
Does your child hear voices, see visions or have any other unusual sensory experiences? Come and meet other parents who know what it’s like.
This FREE afternoon workshop will give you the chance to: Meet other parents of young people who hear voices; Learn more about voices and visions, discovering some helpful coping strategies; Share your experiences with, and get support from, people who’ve been there too; Meet Mind in Camden’s Voice Collective team and find out about the support available to you and your child; Chill out and have some time focussed on you
