Hearing voices groups are chaired by a number of people who share the experience of hearing voices and have had other, unusual experiences. The purpose of the group is to meet in a safe environment where people can feel comfortable and accepted.
They also aim to help people to accept and ‘live with their voices’, in a way that gives some control and helps them to regain some power over their lives.
Warrington is pleased to have a session starting at Allen Street Day Centre on Tuesdays 7-9 pm.
The session will be facilitated by volunteers who have lived experience of living with voices, hallucinations and other unusual experiences.
The group is open to anyone in the area over the age of 16.
If you would like to call for a chat regarding the group please call Garry Billington on 07972 538141 or Sue Hogan on 01925 573489 between 9am and 5pm.
