The Hearing Voices Group in Lincoln began in January 2004 and its aim is to bring people together who are hearing voices in a safe place where they can talk openly about their experiences. We include people who hear voices now, those who have heard voices, plus family, friends, partners and staff that want to learn more. The group is organised by David who hears voices himself and it is a self help group where people can support one another. There is information to take away plus videos and books that can be borrowed.

Free tea, coffee and biscuits are available and the atmosphere is very relaxed as there is no pressure to talk, before you feel comfortable doing so. The group welcomes new members at any time and someone coming for the first time is welcome to bring another person along with them to begin with.

If you would like to join the group you can either call Noel, who would be happy to meet with you before your first group to answer any questions you may have. Alternatively, you are welcome to just come along whenever you are able to.
