Since its’ radical beginnings in the late 80s, HVN has seen, and been part of, a sea change in the psychiatric system. Hearing Voices Groups are an accepted form of support for poeple who hear voices or see visions. With this success comes a challenge – how do we move forwards and sustain the spark and innovation that has helped to make us so strong? How do we form partnerships and hold on to what makes us unique?
This exciting one day conference is an opportunity to unite, celebrate our achievements and, together, envision a reality where people who hear voices, see visions or have other unusual sensory perceptions are understood and accepted.
Featuring contributions from HVN’s part, present and future, including: Marius Romme, Sandra Escher, Ron Coleman, Jacqui Dillon, Peter Bullimore, Rachel Waddingham, HMP Holloway Hearing Voices Group, Voice Collective Young People’s Hearing Voices Group, Creative Campaigning, a Regional Roundup and more …
