What is the Hearing Voices Group
The hearing voices group is a weekly group for people who hear voices.
Our aim is to support each other with the experience of hearing voices.
We believe there are many ways to make sense of the world and aim to respect each other’s views.
Who can come to the group?
Are you someone who:
- Hears voices?
- Is interested in different perspectives?
- Want to learn about a range of coping strategies?
- Want to meet other people in a similar situation?
We meet at MhIST on Thursdays 10:30pm until 12:30pm
Open to all voice hearers, this could be the group for you!
“Many voices can be unthreatening and even positive. It’s wrong to turn this into a shameful problem that people either feel they have to deny or to take medication to suppress.”
– Professor Marius Romme
